Mission/Vision

Mission

The mission of the Association for the Advancement, Education and Protection of Human and Health Rights “BE HUMAN” is to actively promote, educate and advocate for the realization and protection of the rights of each individual, with special emphasis on the rights related to health and well-being.
“BE HUMAN” strives to create a society in which every person will be provided with dignity, equality and access to quality health care, without discrimination and violation of human rights.

Vision

The association for the promotion, education and protection of human and health rights “BE HUMAN” stands for a society in which each individual enjoys the full range of his human rights, with a special focus on health-related rights.
Our vision encompasses several key principles:

  1. Universal access to quality healthcare – access to quality healthcare is not a privilege, but a fundamental right for every individual, regardless of their socio-economic status, race, gender or nationality.
  1. Education on preventive measures, early detection of diseases and promotion of a healthy lifestyle – with knowledge, resources and skills the individual can take responsibility for his own health and well-being.
  2. Dignity and respect – a society where every individual is treated with dignity, respect and compassion, regardless of their health status. This includes eradicating discrimination and stigma associated with various health problems.
  3. Informed decision making – the right of every individual to be informed about their health, including diagnosis, treatment options and potential risks. Informed decision-making ensures that individuals have responsibility for their own health and well-being.
  4. Advocacy for policy change – to influence policies at local, national and international levels to ensure they prioritize and protect human and health rights. This includes advocating for equitable health systems, adequate funding for health services, and policies that address the social determinants of health.
  5. Sustainability and long-term impact – creating sustainable programs and initiatives that have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of communities. This includes building capacity in communities, fostering partnerships and using innovative approaches.
  6. Continuous learning and innovation – to use advances in technology, research and best practices to improve our impact and knowledge in the field of human rights and health.
  7. Fostering a culture of empathy and advocacy – to foster a culture where individuals not only stand up for their own rights, but also actively support and elevate the rights of others, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
Through these guiding principles, the Association for the Promotion, Education and Protection of Human and Health Rights “Be Human” envisions a society where human dignity is respected, health is a universal right, and communities thrive in an environment of justice and well-being.
